In September 2009, downtown Manhattan was transformed into a spectacular outdoor gallery after 13 winners had their HUGO Man-inspired designs hand-painted on carefully selected New York walls in downtown Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Watch the making of video for a closer look.
In the “City Sounds” challenge, 39-year-old Marvin Pedro of the Philippines submitted the winning entry and saw his inspired design illustrate the iconic HUGO Man bottle. This limited edition design was chosen from over 13,000 entries submitted online at HUGO Create from across 108 different countries.
